SALEM, Ore. – Chase Reidt scored twice to lead the visiting Whitworth Pirates to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Willamette Bearcats in Sunday afternoon's Northwest Conference men's soccer contest.

The Bearcats cut the Pirates' lead in half as Nicholas Ballenger ripped a low shot into the bottom left corner of the goal off a pass from Carter McCleary. Willamette tied up the match with two minutes left in the first half on Ballenger's second goal of day. The goal came after a shot deflected off Pirates goalkeeper Jesus Nunez right to Ballenger for the open goal.
Reidt gave the Pirates a 3-2 lead in the 63rd minute. Johnathan Guglielmetti was credited with the assist.
The Bearcats tied up the match again in the 77th minute as Ballenger sent in a penalty kick to earn the hat trick.
The match ended three minutes into overtime as Azzam Azzam dropped in a short pass to Reidt who sent a tight angled shot into the far post for the match-winner.
