Randy Clark heads into his seventh season as the Associate Head Coach of the Whitworth softball coaching staff. He and head coach Cristal Brown have a long history together as Brown played for Clark’s travel ball team and played for him at The Master’s College.

Clark has played an integral role in helping develop the Pirates into three-time Northwest Conference champions (2015-17), the first softball league titles in school history.

Clark coached at The Master’s College for three seasons (2000 – 2003).  His first season was the inaugural year of the program and by the third year he led The Master’s to an NAIA post-season appearance while also breaking into the top 25 national rankings.

Prior to his time at the college level, Clark coached highly competitive travel ball teams for seven years in California, leading his 18-under teams to top-four finishes twice at the national ASA tournament. He has coached many athletes who went on to become All-Americans at both the D1 and D2 levels.

Clark was honored as alumnus of the year in 2010 by the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University. He is a Whitworth University Board of Trustee member and currently serves on boards of companies including Farmer Brothers, a publically traded company.  Clark has served as CEO for many private equity owned, financially challenged companies and is routinely being retained for consulting services.

Clark received his B.A. from Cedarville (OH) University and his Masters of Science in Accounting from Kent State University. He earned a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University.
